There were so many medical claims today that I have forgotten all but the one I saw headlined in a tabloid: Breastfeeding lowers cancer risk.

actually i have read/heard about that a few times, and afaik there are studies on it. the way written above is a bit general though - this is specifically about breast cancer. from what i read, it was found that women who had children but didn't breast feed them have higher rates of breast cancer than women who either didn't have children or had children and breast fed them.
