Ha, Kate jumped in just before me! 20:35 in Sydney. Where I am it is still 38C after reaching a high of 41C earlier today. Off to go put my nightshirt in the fridge before bedtime... haha good idea! might try it myself one time, in the freezer i was in a hut in tassie, my friend and i put rocks in the fire and when we went to bed we put the rocks in our sleeping bags going to bed with wet hair also works and sitting in the water at the beach for ages till you get cold works wonders

ok, since the sun here "rises" across more than up now, apparently even though the forecast says the sunrise is not for another half hour or so, it has been daylight out for nearly an hour here.
It´s cold. Minus 3F. Blue skies, clear.
Seas are calm. No wind, no snow clouds. Ground is covered in snow, and slippery ice, which has not been salted enough.
Morning!

Nearly 11 am. Up since 6am, and it´s still snowing. Looks like I´m in a pretty snowglobe someone is shaking. Once the snow is over, looks like it´ll be blue skies and sun.
Norway coastal area island. Sentrum mountains getting more snow on and off. Calm glassy black clear seas. Lake is frozen over so might go ice skating when finished studying.

12:26 a bit past noon, perfect weather--a bit of rain washing away all the snow and ice. Now people can actually drive up the private country road (typical round here) to get here for my party. Thanks RAIN!

Scrubb - sorry I missed your question. Back home in NZ and head down bumup at the moment with work. I stay in a studio flat within rock throwing distance of Gare Montparnasse and love it. ( Rue Arnard Moisant) Stunning view from the flat on the 9th floor and very quiet as it has an inner courtyard . I must love it as it is my third stay there. Obviously couldn't afford it long term but for 2 or once 4 weeks its great.

Weather wise. NZ - provinces. Hot and humid at 25 at 4pm. It's not so much the heat that is draining but the humidity. Locals are complaining about drought conditions as we really are normally the green area of NZ.

pretty view, sea and palm trees@reply171
Here: outside window is view of the snowcapped mountains and sea, blue skies. Looks like we´re getting snowclouds again, so prolly will snow tonight. Cold, slightly too cold to snow -3C (what is that about 25F). If I walk down to the sea, it´s filled with large thick flat blocks of ice, with seagulls and swans resting on it, walking along the floating ice.
