it's so classically shocking...

That's good. I've seen and enjoyed parts of two or three Dr. Who episodes on hotel TVs.
That's so cute about your son.
It hit 19C today, and I was even able to get outside and enjoy the warmth.

Hello beach bums. It got up to 19C here a few days ago, I doubt that we hit 10C today. It would be fun if you had a new dinosaur bathing suit too, tinier.

dragonette, yes! I love these episodes with David Tennant as the doctor and when Russell T Davies was writing them. Haven't seen the newest episodes with Matt Smith as the doctor so can't comment. although I think these moved from family entertainment to more adult audience so not sure about the cuteness watching all episodes (if he does).
Lefty! I hope you had a great time with the winos!

Annie, it starts with Christopher eccleston as the dr. The cuteness doesn't watch, but thanks for the tip. He's more into Barney.
But I thought maybe when I start using my NEW TREADMILL, I'll start watching the older ones.
Happy daylight savings, by the way!

the older series of Dr Who (prior 2005) are made for children, but effects and acting, etc... is basic to say the least, as far as I know. what I mean is... it is much less refined that the later series. I am sure there is a thread on here about that... maybe look on youtube for a feel of the difference?

The Special Effects were of a different league in the original series and cost very little.
FWIW we still have a bit of the original artwork from one of the early series knocking about and other bits and bobs but sorry folks no TARDIS. We knew one and more of the technical crew.
IIRC Blake's Seven was far worse as far as cheap and shoddy effects went.

Hello, hello. It's another cold, spring day here in "Why In God's Name Did Anyone Ever Settle Here", country.
We will have to try to co-ordinate our Sundays better, tiny.
