lefters, so true. itsa, YAY for your glasses! shr, i dunno, can't remember. seems like it's probably the US who would care more, but that's just a guess. annie, it sucks. but part of the reason i can't sleep is b/c i'm worrying about what could be wrong with my stomach. i know that's sort of ridiculous.

Hi everyone. The sun is out but it's cold. Rain and even snow are forecast for Monday. We saw the fireball last night that was seen in the northeastern USA!

dragon, you need to relax... you're doing yourself more harm than good. if you worry too much about your stomach, your stomach will hurt more. (says the one who doesn't sleep well as she worries about all kinds of things)

itsa, I'd say keep a pair in your car, a pair at home and a pair in your bag?

yeah that was my plan sort of, one at home, one at work and one which is almost disposable kept just in desperate need-case It is funny how I NEVER lose stuff but missplace it. it ALWAYS happens the same, I end up finding stuff some time later at the most unexpected place.

The fireball must have been something to see, pero! There have been a few good northern lights shows here lately thanks to some solar flare ups.
Maybe you should keep a pair of glasses on a string around your neck too, itsas. Just in case.....

mapes! I refuse to do it ... that looks SO decadent, I might age/be aging bad but I won't surrender to look old or forgetful BTW I have just also found a BIG amount of money I had NO idea I had. Maybe the fireball over NJ has thrown some good luck over here? *shivering out of thrill

Yay itsas (about your latest discovery). I agree with you about wearing glasses around your neck. I can't see myself doing it either. It's so ... like my father.
Mapes, it was, and it was the accidental culmination of a series of events that had to play out exactly right for us to have seen it. Defo the best ever meteor sighting I've had.
Dragoncita, I hope your stomach recovers in time for fish taco night!

Hello nerds.
Off you go, auntie! All those things that need doing aren't going to do themselves, you know!
I put my glasses on top of my head and then forget where they are....not a good sign, I'm afraid.

I am SO happy, a new veggie burgers place has opened in town and I just invited my niece to visit it with me. I am a veggie burgers deprived person. ((those are not common here in cow-land)
