Hey itsa. Do you guys have compulsory voting in Argieland? We HAVE to choose from these clowns in September, or risk a fine. I hope there is a More Beer party or something this year.

|
|
Post by itsasmallworld1 on Mar 22, 2013 4:59:16 GMT 2
LOL! you should organize it.. and make a PARTY for your party! I'd vote for you. Voting is mandatory here or you risk going to jail and fines and mess to get new IDs or passport. You wouldn't want OUR clowns.. you still have a luxury to chose from, seriously. Our inflation is skyrocketing, and the cut of rights every day is impressive, there should be a revolution any day here.

Post by tlefty on Mar 22, 2013 5:02:55 GMT 2
Yeah, I don't think I'd want to swap pollies with you. We technically do still have choice, though really it's a choice between two very similar major parties, and they aren't savvy enough to pull off a revolution.
I'll find my favourite quote in the press about the bizzo yesterday - Kate R posted it in the stew too.

Here it is:
"So basically we have a leadership spill that isn't on - but should be - with a leadership contender who should declare - but hasn't - with a deputy who isn't endorsed by the contender.
Confused? Me too."

Lefty.. enjoy your not being Argie. Things are turning scary again here. In multiple aspects. I would leave right NOW if I could. This woman is nuts, mentally unbalanced seriously, said by docs.
There are legislative elections in October, and if she wins she WILL reform the constitution to enable her bereelected for the second time, and if she does, she will WIN again since she pays so many subsidies to poor people who havenot worked for generations, that they will not risk having to go to work, and will vote for her to receive the free salary. Will e mail you tomorrow, situation here is seriously depressing. don't want to turn the thread down more than what I did.
