Itsas, do you remember the comedy skit about the Argentinian excited to live in Canada because it snows there, and he was royally sick of the cold and the snow by October when it was still "warm"?

I am glad I do not have to shovel it, and can keepa "romantic" view of the issue.

LOL pero... I know the guy who plays it.. the sketch is hilarious but can't stand him. Is a very cheap comedian, too popular for my liking. But what he says about the situation is true...and funny. Can you understand it all?

I didn't catch all the words but with the help of the images it is quite understandable and pretty funny (and rather NSFW). And he was only "living" in Toronto.

They show up last week of january when most of the nothern world is still under snow. I made a tiramisu- lasagne pan size, cooling in the fridge. Should be ready for supper:) I love mu goofy dog.

Canadian @49, that's what makes that skit/video particularly funny for me ... Toronto really doesn't have a "real Canadian winter".

that's like 25cm right? wow.. so how much can you get per snow-day at your place? Buenos Aires needs the Royal Navy when we get flooded cos it rains hard.

there has been occasional snowfalls of 25 to 35 cms in a day here, in a "normal" winter we would get approx. 4 to 6 metres of snow. one winter in one week we had over a metre of snow.

1 foot = 30 cm.
Poor Toronto. It must have fallen in a short time. Even the 18 inches/45 cm that fell on Washington, DC, 3 years ago didn't bring the National Guard out.
