Blair is a Scottish name too. And to the extent the Royal Family is any kind of British, it's Scottish. Erm... the windsors (nee the kaisers) are German, and Phil the Greek, is, well, greek. Which of Philip's ancestors were Greek? Does Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg sound like a Greek name to you? I didn't deny that the Battenbergs were more German than British. I said that to the extent they were any kind of British, they were Scottish.

I suspect that all of Europe's royalty is pretty much the same inbred family. No reason the Holsteines wouldn't be running greece.
