This old grey mare ain't what she used to be. 8am and I'm knackered enough to go back to bed. Gardening's for the stupid or those that love it. Think I'm in both camps.

It's raining here her after 3 plus weeks without, despite glorious weather other wise. This is the first year in a couple that I went all out with a fall/winter garden, beets, greens, arugula etc. so, I am happy.
Other than that, I am in a foul mood.
Will just curl up, read, watch movies, EAT, snuggle with the beasts...

It´s been wonderful having guests for over two weeks. Current guests have been delightful and I´ll miss them when they´re gone. But I´m looking forward to a day to myself again on Sunday-

We have a magnolia tree near the house. We thought it was magnolia grandiflora but that is evergreen and this has been shedding its leaves. Its final leaf hung on for three days but today it has dropped. Winter has truly set in.

I have a box of See's sitting only four feet from me. I ADORE SEE'S chocolates, esp the "Nuts and Chews" variety. Their lollipops are the ONLY ones on earth that count. Apricot Delight and Summertime and, oh hell, their all fabulous. Easter eggs!!!!!!

I have tried See's and also Ghirardelli's.. love them both. As well as Thornton's I think is the name of those of England. Right now having a very explicit romance with Lindt

Oh Scrubb, do not worry, our friendship is more solid than any bar of chocs( yours and mine) my love to Lindt is shared with many other brands, depending on availability. Lindt never spoke to me of going steady

BTW started a FB and Twitter campaigne to get my net conection back at home.. they cut it a week + some days ago. I think I should work as a Publicity Creative at this point, have used every single idea I had to make it sound funny and to the point, mocking and diminishing them all with class though

Is Virgin Atlantic trying to appeal to the masses by putting basic spelling mistakes in their ads such as the one I saw in the ad bar just above this forum?

I heard fireworks several times this evening, but couldn't see any from our yard. I love seeing them, but feel sorry for animals that are scared by them. (My cat notices them but doesn't get too alarmed.)
