Thank you everyone. It means a lot. Although I have chosen not to join the Stew, please let the posters there know that I am very grateful and comforted by their kind thoughts. I've passed on the message, and the mods there have, quite unasked, made the thread a sticky. There are many people all over the world, and on several boards, thinking of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Nutrax's passing and know how difficult and heartbreaking this must be for you. Nutrax, I believe we live in close proximity to each other and would be more than happy for you to call or meet for tea or lunch some day if you'd like. I'll send my phone # via PM.

This really helps. My brother has come to stay with me for a few days, so I'm not alone.
My husband's wish was to be cremated, so we don't have the stress of trying to organize a service right away. We'll have a memorial service in few weeks, so those who need to travel can make arrangements, and when we are all less shell-shocked.

I'm glad that you have the support of your brother staying with you for a few days. It must still be quite a shock I imagine and hope you are managing to get some rest and take care of yourself in such a stressful time.

Nutrax my condolences. For years I've enjoyed your level-headed and informative posts, and remember picking up along the way that your Mr. Nutrax wasn't in the best of health. I wish you strength, wisdom, and good people around you to help you with what you need.
If there is anything you think a bunch of internet weirdos may be able to help you with, please let us know.

The most amazing thing happened. I returned to my house after running an errand, and there was a vase of flowers on the doorstep. I thought It might be from one of my relatives.
I looked at the card and I damned near cried. It was from the TT moderation team. I'd given my real name & address a while back when I was offered a free book, so I assume they unearthed the info somewhere.
I am absolutely stunned--and honored!

There are so many words yet so few that adequately express sorrow and sympathy. I do feel it and hopefully that will tell you how sad I am.

So very sad to hear of your loss nutrax. You were both very lucky to have found each other and I feel good that once a while back when he wasn't well I enjoyed the parcel I sent. May he rest in peace now. Lots of love... Sue.

Just wanted to say - thanks leela for passing this on to others, I'm sure there are many many who care and have indulged in nutrax's wisdom and knowledge that has probably saved their lives, that don't know that she's joined us here. And for the response from the TT moderation team, that makes my heart warm in such sad times.
