voy, we often go to Truckee and I love it. Lake Donner is great and it's much greener than Reno. The only problem is the commute to Reno during winter.

So so many posts on here that I'd like to comment on, but can't remember them all Except...... I'm gagging over the maggot routine. I'm in great pain for Suzanne having to go to Trinidad and having to travel so much. I realize it's for work, but the idea of traveling turns me on.WILDLY TRAVELLED.....you are going to LOVE your CPAP. I tried the nose only mask. Doesn't work if your mouth opens in your sleep. I now have full face. It absolutely, positively changed my life. Hope you got one with a humidifier. Makes a BIG difference. It was sorta bothersome to get used to, but I haven't slept without it once since I got mine. okay now..... 1. awakened at 6:30 a.m. That's a miracle for me. 2. sang to and gave Flaco a massage. He was ecstatic. He's a dog. 3. the really good bread company came to sell their yummies from my kitchen table. i live way out in the hills, so this is a treat. All the neighbors come buy bread, and I get a nice discount. 4. the seamstress came to measure for altering a shitload of clothes given to me by a friend who decided she wanted all new things. 5. finally reached my son, whose birthday was Sunday 6. sat out on the porch for lunch and watched the grass, trees, and all the plants grow. NO not on farmville! 7. Bought the first season of "Mad Men" and "The Wire" last week, and will commence watching them tonight if I can tear myself away from the Farmville threads. Rather boring, huh.

welle - how do you clean maggots from a leg wound? Out of all the things to ask... well, you just take them off then clean the wound as you usually would. Ugh. arghhh how do you pick them up?!

I've used to once (didn't use it last night because I had friends over) I felt kind of wierd and freaked all night and had a night mare about the cpap Hopefully I'll get used to it I only got a nose one

1. I had a nightmare. I had swallowed a tack and I knew I had to get to hospital. It was stuck in my throat. But everyone was too busy to take me to A & E. ;D 2. My friend's daughter unexpectedly came to visit early this morning and caught me in my jammies playing Farmville.
3. She presented me with an amazing wooden umbrella hand-painted with a bamboo handle, made in Bangkok.
4. She gave me a letter in which her mother has invited me to stay at her house in Phuket early December. I am told that Phuket is 'full on' but don't know what that means.
5. I will go to the dump this afternoon.
6. I have eaten a carton of fresh pineapple for lunch
7. I must do some housework. I am always on Farmville. ;D

wildly: I'm not used to having someone else in the bed! It's lovely to have Mr. Siduri next to me, but I sleep more safe and sound on my own. I wonder how long it takes to get used to it...

ethel - how do the neighbours know when the bread company turns up at your place? Every Tuesday at 11 a.m. Luscious breads, sweet rolls, yogurts, sweet Danish butter. I don't think your humidifier should be gurgling. You will feel extremely weird for quite awhile, but keep using it every night until it's like a second skin. I think your overnight friends would rather have a good laugh at your weirdness, then get a good nights sleep rather than hearing your gasping for air and all the strange noises apnea causes. I spoke to a woman who said she has great sex now that she has her CPAP. Her husband is a sci-fi fanatic and gets all excited pretending he's making love to an alien. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

1. We unpacked only three boxes before lunch. 2. This was because we spent an hour at the mairie getting all the forms we need to move here. 3. Lovely sunny day so we had lunch in the courtyard and an hour's siesta by the pool. 4. We unpacked more boxes. 5. We put up two large paintings in the dining room/kitchen - Writeon and BigIain will be impressed. 6. I unpacked the cookbooks... 7. ...so Mrs Faz could find a recipe for a lovely fish curry.
