I dislike when Mrs M has to go on business to Iraq. Fortunately she is just now safe and sound back in Germany.

I dislike the strong wind that blew over and smashed our pot of basil. Fortunately yhr basil looks all right. My SiL staying with us has requested pesto so I better get to it.

I dislike coming home from an outstanding holiday to a normal house. It is just sooooo dull. Red wine helps though.

I was happy to see your Disney pics on fb Iain because funny enough the other day I remembered that aaaaaages ago you mentioned you were going this Autumn and wondered if you had gone yet. Tell us about it!
I dislike the after effects of far too much beer yesterday.

I dislike rain when we have visitors. Mts Faz's sisters are here now. Middle of next week we have an old schoolfriend of Mrs Faz. We dread if it is raining and she is confined to our house. She is - and I am being diplomatic here - most peculiar.

Ouch Riki !! Being at work when I should rather be at home in bed as I have a flu/cold really sucks. Can't wait for this day to be over.

Thanks Riki ! Today I am at home, will stay here for the rest of the week if I don't feel better. Just yesterday I had to go to work because I had to substitute a couple of others who were not around.
Ah Gobsie that sucks !

I am going to dislike our weather very soon but at present it is perfect. I have been in the vegetable patch in shirtsleeves and wearing a sun hat. Mark will be interested to know that I sowed broad beans.

So 'sown' is a past participle. That's something like an old electron then I suppose.

Following on from MIL's funeral yesterday...I really dislike
Having to explain to a hopelessly upset 7 year old that her favourite grandmother has had to go to heaven. Having to answer her questions about what was in the coffin and where our soul travels on to Settling her in to bed and Enduring her painful crying until she finally fell asleep last night. Knowing that tonight will likely be a repeat performance.
