Tilly - I almost never use recipes.. this was: leeks, cut up little and softened in butter - the turned that into a cream sauce - to which I added 1/2 lb mixed cheese scraps from the deli (plus a little bit of crumbled feta) and then a bunch of cut up cooked ham. oh. there was a large tsp of spicy mustard in the sauce too. mixed with penne - and baked a bit more.

Is this foul like we used to have for breakfast every day in Egypt? We got fed up with having it every day but quite miss it now.

I am out for lunch with director of a potential new client/employer tomorrow so will hopefully be having a good feed. It was my suggestion to meet and eat in a restuarant called La Garrigue in Edinburgh and it was his idea that the meal is on him. They do South of France dishes so I am very much anticipating a good time.

I had a great lunch today at a restaurant in Madeira. Company was shit but food was lovely, really rustic place where they grilled everything over acacia wood embers.

That sounds great. I love food that has been "grilled" on a woodfire.
Don't know about lunch today. I need to start eating healthy and nothing really takes my fancy yet today. Probably eggs and rice.

I also love any kind of food grilled on a woodfire. Fish, meat, vegetables do not matter.
I bought some fresh fish and asked colleagues if they help me to cook it I will be more than happy to share all...I am waiting for them, if they refuse I dont know what to eat either.

There is some left over curried cauliflower. Do you think it will go well with the Black Forrest ham?
