I find it hard to believe that the US of A has a National Chewing Gum Day. And a National Mud Pack Day.

It is National Hair Day. Obviously this discriminates against baldies. Someone should be sued.

It is National Golf Lover's Day. I don't play golf. I know nobody who plays golf. Should I feel victimised by this day? Or maybe triumphant?

we missed world food day yesterday.
And today is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
I understand it COULD cost very little to sort this out. and that it COULD be very easy. unfortunately, the powers that be prefer to divide and empoverish. We need to unite and empower.

Thank you for filling the gap, annie.
I think I celebrated world food day today, with my enormous lunch. Burp.
And yes, the eradication of poverty is very frustrating for the reason you mention.

I haven't known what to celebrate for the past 10 days! Sorry for the break in service but the gap has been filled admirably. Today is National Reptile Awareness Day.

How can I have missed it? Yesterday was National Mole Day. Hang on a minute. Is this celebrating the Mexican sauce? Maybe the burrowing rodent? Even the deeply secret Russian spy?

Jeff, you join a number of people who are suspicious of me. I was checked out by the CIA (El Salvadors, 1984). And a man from one of the British security organisations (late 80s). I managed to fool them both.

It is National Greasy Food Day. I find it interesting that USAnians think it necessary to set aside one day for this.

I prefer mule day, though am not sure how to celebrate it. I don't even have any mule-style shoes to wear.

It's National Black Cat Day. It's also American Beer Day. Is that cause for celebration or a warning?
