I think i would have said to the girl loud enough for the other one to hear "i guess she hasnt been laid in a while" and smiled at her. If i was brave enough that is

But that is rude too, a typical male's explanation, not a lady like one.. I felt SO bad for the girl.. something VERY similar happened to me a couple of weeks ago with the diff I fired the client. Literally pushed her out.
The girl can not react upon risk of losing her job.. I commented this on Fb and twitted it so that it gets to the co.

I don't know what I'd have done, other than looked sympathetically at the girl and maybe said something about "some people are so rude" after the woman was gone. But if I had time to think, and felt brave, I'd try to speak to the yelling woman and just point out to her how rude she is being. Not sure exactly what's appropriate: "You are being very rude" ? "Please lower your voice" ? "This girl does not deserve to be spoken to like that" ? I dunno.

I might have said something like 'oh, it's a wonderful day today' while she was there or once she was out of earshot 'well, someone is in a good mood today-how is your day going?'
Or just 'wow' or 'I'm sorry. Hope you have a great day today.'
If I was the girl behind the counter without job security I also would not have said anything. Not worth loosing the job over.

Certain politicians say the NHS is in crisis. Maybe, but not everywhere. I wanted to see the doc this morning and got an appointment for 15 minutes later. Just made it in time.
