After a short skype session with my family, I decided that since it is traditional to open presents on the 24th in the evening 'at home' that I was allowed to open my present since I am indeed 'at home'.
I received a 'shweshwe' printed pencil bag and a notebook (also with a shweshwe printed cover) together with a long note from my not so secret Santa. Thank you, Santa! The note is precious to my heart. Thank you for taking the time to find things that I appreciate and I will probably be able to use them either in my health practice or in any of my other ventures.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I was looking forward to opening this package since I received it and am really happy with what you sent me. For a moment, I felt we were together. Maybe on the beach, with either a glass of wine in hand or our beers stuck in the sand. Love you!
Will there be a reveal thread, mods?

well - Itsa/Santa -- I switched over to the new bag.. and am getting compliments on it - even before I make them smell that wonderful new-leather smell. I know. I know. That wasn't your SS gift - they are waiting until tomorrow morning.. I mean, Santa has to get down the chimney first. ( which will be tough, seeing as I don't have one...)

i got a pretty chalkbag (a bag for climbing that is attached to your belt, so you have the chalk in there with which you make your hands dry so you have a better grip on the rock) and a maple chocolate bar. thanks! can't wait for my next climbing trips so i can try out the chalk bag! (the chocolate might get eaten right today) ...

Yay - I like reading about all of the contents of santa's packages! I'm hoping that mine is waiting for me when I get back to the UK (but no worries if it isn't as I gave my address late) - I love the suspense but can't wait to see what my SS sends/sent

My SS gift - was a whole lot of things that are perfect to put into my new bag! ( now how did Santa know what that bag was like???) -- a tassled key chain and little change purse in almost exactly the same blue leather, a pen and note book, purse mirror and handcream - and the helper elf ( who brought the bag from BA) gave me a credit card thingy that is also perfect with it.. whooohooo elegant me! This combo of Santa and elf has proven to be a very very good one! and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart!

Mine arrived in a very timely manner just before christmas eve! It was a box full of lovely handcrafted goodies from a small village community. There was a pack of organic local coffee in it. That will be saved for after the vacation when school starts again. That way I have something special to enjoy every morning. My favourite item is the small cloth bag, made of woven fabric. It is exactly what I needed but had postponed looking for & buying. The colours are exactly my taste and the bag will be used as a "bag within the handbag" so I can keep things less messy.
[btw. I sent my on Christmas eve day, so someone will get a parcel after the holidays]

I received some chocolate-delicious, SWISS chocolate!!! I´m embarrassed to admit I ate both bars already. I meant to save some, but once I tasted it... I also got a lovely oven mitt and pot holder. Which I really needed. As I was baking Christmas cookies last week I noticed how ratty and ragged mine were looking. Now I have new ones! Thank you Secret Santa!

I've not received mine but we've had no Christmas cards or anything from my family, which we usually do. I hope that the postal strike means it has been delayed and not destroyed.

I got home the other day just before 1am and found a note written on a package that had been delivered to check inside my garbage bin for another package that couldn't fit through my mail slot - and it was my SS gift! The odd location where the postman left the package was somewhat ironic as when I opened it it smelled lovely - I got soap, bath salts and rhassoul which I can't wait to try out. And each item was beautifully wrapped. Thanks Secret Santa!

No. It wasn't from my Secret Santa. It was from Optus - Dear Netsuke, Welcome to Optus TV with Fetch! Inside this package you'll find everything you need to install and activate your service. Et setera et setera et setera...
Ah well, guess I'll just have to be patient a little longer.

Has there/will there be a SS reveal? Shall we post the list of who sent a gift to who in maybe a week? It can be done with the spoiler bar so those who haven't yet received their gift and want it to remain a surprise don't have to open the spoler and read who is/has sent it?
