I get to Malaga from here in about 1:45Hrs and there are no tolls. There is a toll road leaving Malaga but it is new and the old road is still well used and free, and a dual carriageway.

Sounds favourite!
I'll ask for a specific route nearer the time.
How far is the nearest Bar from your place on foot?
I assume you have an extensive wine cellar?

Nearest bar is up in the village.
We might find a six pack of beer from when my brother was here last year, but that's about it. I'm teetotal and she's not bothered one way or the other.

How far away is The Village and are they like that scene in American Werewolf in London?
I assume I shouldn't even pencil you two down for a Naked Conga at Midnight when the wine runs out?

The bar isn't so similar but the dangers of straying from the path are the same. The closest bar in the village is a couple of km away, uphill. But coming back and pissed it's an easy downhill. Apart from their being no street lights. And no pavement. It's shorter if you cut through the fields of olive trees. But trying to find the right one to turn at, in the dark when they are all the same, is a bit of a problem. Never mind the snakes.

Would the Village Bar prefer that I support the Facist Real Madrid or the likeable Catalans?...I prefer Athletico Bilbao who have a real Basque identity.
As regards the 'walk' back, are there roadside olives to munch on? Maybe some lemons for the G&T? Any other roadside fare to gorge on?
I assume the snakes are just for show and no poisonous ones?
